Update to the current mobile phone number
If your mobile phone number registered in KakaoTalk is not currently being used, you may suffer damage from KakaoTalk account hijacking. Please update it to your current mobile phone number to safely use KakaoTalk.
You can check the registered mobile phone number in 'My Profile > Cogwheel in the upper right corner > Profile Management > Phone Number' in KakaoTalk. To edit the phone number, click 'Phone Number > Edit Phone Number at the bottom of the page' and enter a new mobile phone number.
Alternatively, you can check your currently registered mobile phone number in the 'More > Settings (Gear Icon) > the mobile phone number' section at the top of the Settings screen. If it's not your current number, please tap the 'Change' button to update it with your new mobile phone number.
