Two-step verification
Two-step verification is a dual security service that requires you to go through additional authentication after providing Kakao Account and password for login.
If you set up Two-step verification, you can safely use your Kakao Account because no one can log in without additional authentication even though they know your Kakao Account and password.
You can easily set up Two-step verification with your KakaoTalk or contact phone number. You can also set up your email account for emergency contact so that you can log in even when your phone is not available.
We recommend you always proceed with 2-step verification for safety reasons. You can set up the 2-step verification in 'Settings > Kakao Account > 2-Step Verification'.
