How to Report
Report a spam messages
KakaoTalk offers a report feature that enables you to report the profile and Open Chatrooms of users who send illegal spam messages through SMS. You can instantly file a report if the spam message includes a KakaoTalk ID, or the link connects to a KakaoTalk QR code search result, Open Chatroom cover or Open Profile. Please attach a screenshot of the illegal spam message you received when you submit the report, and the admin will review the illegality of the spam message, in accordance with the Operation Policy, and handle the spam message accordingly. To report a regular chat, go the the KakaoTalk ID/QR code search result screen and select [Block] > [Block & Report]. If the violating user is already a registered friend, you can report that user after deleting them from your friends list.
Open Chatrooms can be reported via the warning light icon on the upper right of the Open Chatroom cover. To report Open Profiles, please go to the upper right of the screen and press [More] > [Report].
