KakaoTalk automatically limits your account when suspicious activity is detected.
During this time, you may still use most of the features of KakaoTalk, but certain features may not be available for use.
We kindly ask for your understanding that we take appropriate measures to provide the best service environment to our users.
Please refer to the cases below that you may be banned
- If you add too many friends in a short period of time
- If you use the service in a similar environment where the users who have violated the service used
- If you have history of sending illegal content including obscenity or referencing gambling
- If you create too many regular or open chats in a short period of time
- If you use overseas phone numbers with no carrier information
- If you are reported by many users for messaging
- If you are reported by many users in Open Chats
- If you use KakaoTalk in an abnormal environment such as using PC emulators
- Other
Your ban will be lifted automatically in a few weeks if there are no violations noted from our system.
We kindly ask for your understanding that we cannot inform the specific date of when your ban will be lifted because it is operated by the system.
Also note that there will be more cases for service ban to the cases stated above.
If we find you repeating violations or receiving additional reports while you're banned, your ban will be lifted later than the expected date.
However, if we don't find additional violations, your ban will be lifted earlier than the expected date.
